Jeremy Corbyn tables no confidence motion in Theresa May

UK Opposition Leader Jeremy Corbyn has tabled a motion of no confidence in Prime Minister Theresa May after she delayed a vote on her Brexit deal until January. Ms May rescheduled the vote for the week of January 14 after delaying it on December 11 due to a lack of support. Mr Corbyn says it is ‘unacceptable’ to make members of parliament wait, saying she is leading the UK into a ‘national crisis’ A Labour spokesperson says ‘the government must find time to debate this tomorrow’. The motion is not necessarily legally binding but it will increase pressure on the Prime Minister over Brexit.
